私たちは日本に住む外国人に優しいイベントにしたい。
（背景）
主催者の雄一は日本語教師。
日本に住む外国人が日本人の友達ができないという悩みを聞いてき
学校や、職場以外でも外国人が日本人の友達ができれば、
もっと日本に長くいたい、
国際交流をしたい日本人にとっても、
日本のことをよく知ってくれている、
日本のことが好きな外国人がいれば、結果的に
英語など外国語でつながるチャンスも増えるだろう。
外国人のための国際交流イベントを作ること＝
外国人と日本人のwinwin関係を作るのではないかという
仮説を検証したい。
みんなそれぞれ自分の考えを持っている。
でも、
言葉や文化が違うので、通じない。
伝わらない。
何とかして伝えた先に、心と心がつながる。
Kyoto Multilingual Gatheringはそんな機会を作るお手伝いをしたいと考えています。
（イベントの内容）
KYOTO LAUNDRY CAFE（@kyotolaundrycafe）というソーシャルなカフェで
フリードリンク、アルコールを片手に、国際交流！
コミュニケーションのきっかけとなるゲームを用意しています。
今後は、有志を募り、
カフェにブースを設け、
アクセサリー販売、折り紙体験、フード販売など
それぞれの活動を知ってもらう機会を作りたい。
一緒に国際交流シーンを盛り上げてくれるメンバーを募集中。

The organizer, Yuichi, is a Japanese language teacher.
I have heard the concerns of foreigners living in Japan who struggle to make Japanese friends. If foreigners can make Japanese friends outside of school or workplace, they may be more inclined to stay longer and consider living in Japan.
For Japanese people who want to engage in international exchange, having foreigners who know a lot about Japan and have an affinity for the country can increase opportunities to connect in languages such as English.

We want to conduct a social experiment to create a win-win relationship between foreigners and Japanese by organizing international exchange events specifically for foreigners.
Everyone has their own thoughts, but due to language and cultural differences, they can’t communicate effectively or understand each other.
We want to assist in creating opportunities where hearts can’t connect after successfully conveying thoughts and ideas.

At a social cafe called KYOTO LAUNDRY CAFE, （@kyotolaundrycafe）enjoy free drinks and alcohol while engaging in intercultural exchange!
We have prepared games that serve as icebreakers for communication.
In the future, we plan to recruit volunteers and set up booths at the cafe to provide opportunities for various activities such as accessory sales, origami workshops, and food stalls. We are looking for members who can join us in livening up the international exchange scene.
